Cake Contract

Thank you for ordering your cake from us, we work really hard to make your occasion very special!

Terms

1. Your initial deposit reserves your event date and is non-refundable. The final payment is due a week before the event. If paid in full, a 75% refund will be given to cancellations prior to 6 days of the event.
2. We offer cake tastings by appointment in the amount of $15 for weddings ONLY. If the cake is purchased, we will deduct the $15 from the total cost of the cake. 
3. Changes in size, style, or flavors of the cake must be made 5 days prior to the event date.  Any changes requested after this date cannot be guaranteed and may be subject to additional charges.
4. The client is to remove all non-edible decorations from the cake before consumption. Cakes D’ Sabores is not liable for any consumption or injury due to these items such as but not limited to: ribbon, straws, dowels, lace, wire, flowers, etc. 
5. We are not responsible for any damage to the cake after the setup is complete.  You are responsible for providing an appropriate and secure table and environment for the cake(s).  Cakes are heavy and require a sturdy table and an optimal room temperature of 75 degrees or below.
6. If you or your representative elect to pick up and set up the cake, you assume all liability and responsibility for the condition of the cake once it leaves Cakes D’ Sabores property. If any damage occurs, a minimum of $25 repair fee will be required.
7. If flowers are provided by an outside source, you acknowledge that fresh flowers are not a food product, and may contain pesticides, insects, dirt, or other contaminants.
8. On occasion we will photograph our cakes and we reserve the right to use any photographs for display or promotion without compensation to you.
9. Our products may contain or come into contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy, and other allergens. You agree to notify your guests of this risk and hold us harmless for allergic reactions.
